Default George W. Bush, Motivational Speaker

George W. Bush is on a tour speaking about a book he is writing. It details the 12 most difficult decisions he has had to make.

The Washington Post

I heard he is charging $19 a seat for these appearances, which I'm sure will occur in friendly red states. Any chance he heads back to his alma mater in New Haven?

$19? That's a steal. Will they be serving booze at any of the venues?

He may not be the best speaker, as we well know...but he has every right to do so after being president. I mean that's usually what they do is go around giving speeches and pursuing humanitarian efforts. I say good for him, I hope he will be able to make a positive impact. He may not have been a very good president but that doesn't mean he is a terrible person. That is a really hard job and I think some just do it better than others.

Yes, he has the right to do it. Presidents usually get to hold more elaborate, $500 a plate type affairs, to speak of their high level decision making experiences. He is truly a man of the people, and is giving them a once in a lifetime bargain to hear a President speak. I heard they're selling Slap Chops with his Presidential Seal in the lobby afterward.

Hell, I'd pay 19 bucks just for a humor value. About the same as a movie.

I'm not joking. I'd pay $19 to see him speak. Absolutely a steal. If i can find a spot where i can buy a few drinks, too, more the better.

I don't need no slap-chop though. I'm living an exciting life already.

I'd say wow every time if i could get a decent pour on some Sapphire at the wet bar while i enjoy GW's speech. I'd buy that for $7/pop ($10 in nyc).
