I like The Progressive.

That's a news source with a clear bias, and they admit it right up-front.

Thanks, Flutter. I was hoping that you'd post that data.

FOX is by far the most watched news network in the country. After that fact, do they really have anything else to prove, or do the fascist whiners on this board simply not believe in freedom of choice? Did there really need to be another thread about this? I mean, come on.

So higher ratings somehow prove that they're not politically motivated? Can you show your work on that logic problem? Please?

No, it proves that that's what people want to watch. Do you really think that millions of people would choose them over other stations if they didn't report the news?

Turn on your TV right now, and flip to FOX. Greta Van Sustern is interviewing Sen. Chuck Grassley. It looks like journalism to me.

Of course. You don't need to be a genius to realize that.

Although I like the logic: "It's popular, so of course it can't be politically motivated!"

You may want to work on that one.

Fox News is to News what stage 4 pancreatic cancer is to health.

and I LUUUUUUUUV watching it, for the same reason that I once loved watching Jerry Springer cause I'm always stunned by what comes out of some peoples mouths. Gretchen Carlson, Glenn Beck, Steve Doucey, Kilmeade and O'Rielly? Comedic GOLD!!!!!! Saddly Hannity bores the hell out of me.

They do have Shep Smith, who I love and I think is one of the most non partisian people on cable news.

As for mistakes Fox makes quite a few of them, tweaking videos to make crowds seem larger, indentifying republicans in trouble with a capital D next to their names instead of R. Being for it when it was Bush and Against it when it's Obama (do they not know that comparable video exsist?).

I love Olberman but I'm not trying to pass him off as centerist, i love him because he's progressive. I'm not ashamed of being lib or of holding up the progressive voices I enjoy as being just that why try so hard to hide what the rest of the world knows Fox is? Conservative Newsotainment.

But it doesn't matter that it's biased beyond the point of journalism, ws, because people watch it.

I think?

Who cares? You can be political and report the news. Don't pretend like all the other stations aren't political - oh what am I even talking to you, for? You get your news from Comedy Central.

I'd like to know that, myself.

But I think we're all still waiting to hear how being popular means that it's not a political campaign outlet. Don't forget that one.
