JLP, it is obvious that you have a problem with women from your posts. You don't need a vagina to see when someone is being a dick instead of a good person. I cannot believe how readily you quote the scriptures and then behave in a way that is in direct opposition to what you claim to believe in so completely. I am beginning to see that you use your religion as a club to bash the people that make you angry and resentful. It isn't difficult to see that you are not a happy person, and that your faith is not lifting you up and making you a better person. You have been very quick to overreact and be nasty on a personal level. if you don't like what your read, then ignore it and post in a different thread. You don't have to post when you don't like the topic or the subject matter in it.

I think that you are one of the most intelligent people here, and I respect you for it. I truly do; don't think I'm trying to kiss your ass or anything like that. I just want you to know that I call things the way I see them. I thought you missed the boat by a long shot with your last post. I try to be real with people; I don't shine heaven's light out of my rear end or anything like that.

What I was trying to get at was that Lostviking's story about this tiff between his niece and her stepfather is stupid and completely beside the question being asked in this poll. I DON'T disagree with you that the stepdad is an asshole; he probably is - but I also don't buy LV's bullshit that the niece is so sweet and innocent as he made her out to be. I'm sure you know better than I do how a teenage girl can be. What's the point of sitting around talking about what a bad man this pastor is? I don't know if he's a bad man or not - from the other things that LV said about him visiting the sick in hospitals and giving himself so fully to his ministry, he can't be an entirely bad man. To me it just sounded like the family has some problems - what family doesn't? It's not something to make an issue out of. Do you get me?
