Re: Fox News: network or political campaign outlet?
Whooooaaaaa, I didn't expect all this from this Fox News story.
Funny how it got away from their actual performance as a promotion tool for right-wing Ayles' agenda into some other stuff.
Two crowd falsifying videos tied to people who either work at Fox or Fox depends on for pushing the rightie agenda. Not mistakes in other areas, like misquoting GBO statistics or hosts talking about impure races, but just two videos showing crowds from well attended events, not the actual video of the event.
If you don't think that is a calculated attempt to promote the appearance of "we're all in this together," then look at your own responses.
Ratings?
Really?
Sure sign of the downfall of the fourth estate that we need to judge a news organizations success by ratings. It's so uneducated and base.
So feel secure in your agreement with some masses to validate your own beliefs, you all have a nice home on some of the Fox News shows.

Awwww, are you sad because no one likes your posts? Feel free to hit the ignore button. Or just don't post at all. That would be perfect. I wouldn't miss never seeing another word you write.

If you think JLP is a troll in every aspect of this definition, raise your hand.

Re: Fox News: network or political campaign outlet?
Yes, ratings. Fox is successful the same way any other quality product is successful - consumers demand it. Economics proves you wrong. Fox outcompetes every other news network combined, which means that it is the best, most successful, most highly rated news network in the country. It's based on consumer choice, not some professor's nitwit opinion. Here in America, we call that the Free Market. Competition creates quality. FOX is the creme de la creme of telivision news. That's not an opinion; that's a fact. You just keep stewing over that, ok?

Re: Fox News: network or political campaign outlet?
Old skool news & news in (most) other countries would get booted from American TV.
They actually just tell the news. No 'it bleeds it leads', sensationalism & politics.
B-O-R-I-N-G yet highly informative I'm sure.

Ah, yes... studentus idioticus, indigenous to the Wikipedia region of the internet. Years and years of denying the truth have caused her to evolve a resilience to books and knowledge...notice how she makes clever use of copy and paste to communicate.

But don't you think most people want to be informed, as you do? If FOX isn't informative, and people demand information, as I believe they do, why do so many millions more people choose to watch it?
